SHOOTING HALF FRAME WITH THE PENTAX 17

The PENTAX-17 was a new half-size-format camera introduced by Pentax in 2024 that employs a left to right film advance. When positioned in the normal way, it captures vertical-format pictures, identical to the familiar images captured by a smartphone. It features a fixed 25mm f/3.5 lens, providing a 37mm equivalent field of view, It utilizes a zone-focusing system with 6 pre sets and a triplet optical design similar to the vintage Espio Mini but enhanced with modern HD optical coatings for high contrast and sharpness .
